xXx: Return of Xander Cage

In the official teaser trailer for xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) is enjoying a meal when he says, "You know, they say the world is safer than it's ever been in the history of civilization. Do you feel safer today than you did yesterday? I know I don't."

From then on, the action rips and roars through the remainder of the trailer. It's expressed that evil threats in the world are rising and there's a need for an unstoppable force to counteract their ill intentions. That soldier is Xander Cage (Vin Diesel), who we see throw punches, jump over moving cars, ride a motorcycle and flip it mid-air, and emerge shirtless from a body of water. We're also briefly introduced to characters played by Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette and Ruby Rose, who says at the end of the trailer, "Guns, girls and global domination - Xander Cage is back."
