Loved this movie, loved the story! Tom Hanks is always a fav!!

I really enjoyed this movie. It was nice to be entertained without the use of foul language or violence. Emma Thompson is very, very good and Tom Hanks makes a great Walt Disney. I laughed and I cried. I really feel the need to rewatch Mary Poppins now, I think I will look at her through different eyes.

Great acting by both Hanks and Thompson.

It was a feel-good movie that made you laugh and cry. Growing up as someone who loved Mary Poppins, I felt connected to the story and really appreciated learning the background behind this amazing tale. The actors were fabulous and I would recommend it to all.

The young girl who played the young Helen(Emma) did a great job. She was a strong lead playing opposite Colin Farrell. I really felt for Mrs. Travers at the end of the story, Emma did a great job expressing her attachment for Mary Poppins and the family. Paul Giamatti and Jason Schwartzman were both great supporting players.

wonderful telling of the "other side" of the story of how we were blessed with Mary Poppins. It was heartwarming to get to see the relationship and who the book was really written for. :)

I would like to thank you for the invitation to see the Advanced Screening… it was "beautifully sad/heartwarming" …We felt her pain & cried for/with her. Well done. Definitely a 4 or 5 star

What an amazing movie! The cast gave Oscar worthy performances. The film was humourous, sad, thoughtful, honest, and touching. Go see it with any family member! I'd be suprised to find someone who wouldn't find this movie entertaining.

Emma Thompson was great (as always). The story moved along at a brisk pace, but was a bit cloying at times. Tom Hanks did a great job but I couldn't buy into him as Walt Disney. Growing up with "The Wonderful World of Disney", I saw the real Walt Disney many times on TV and Hanks wasn't able to capture that child-like wonder that Walt had in real life.
