Definitely met my criteria, great movie!

Another nifty Rachel Weisz vehicle. This time she cuts her chops on a nifty Roman period piece. Rather morose tale, but supporting cast, sets and costumes keep this from getting dull.

Rachel Weisz was excetional. Period film complex. Not my favorite. Good if you like period movies or love Rachel Weisz.

It was ok, a bit gloomy!

A lovely historical drama in which science and logical thinking loses out to superstitions. I love the portrayal of the early days of Christianity and the Roman influence upon it's rise to power over other relgiouns.

Sets, script and stars, this film has it all. Not only that, awesome set pieces and truly dramatic themes set this one apart from the usual Summer fare.

A fime period piece made better with the presence of Rachel Weisz. Rather gloomy tale with very few female roles, bur entertaining and beautiful to watch. Supporting cast is well selected and effective. Good movie.

A bit bleak, but excellent performances and wonderful set pieces keep this film alive. Rachel Weisz is one of the best female actors around, great work here. If you like period pieces your gonna love this movie!
