Kya (Daisy Edgar-Jones) has never really fit in with her town. Abandoned in the marshes of North Carolina as a young girl, she had no choice but to raise herself. As she grows up, she begins to attract the attention of two young men. But when one of them winds up dead, she becomes the prime suspect.
