Matt Damon is basically a rocket scientist after his leading-man turn in The Martian, a Ridley Scott action film that strands Damon on the red planet, desperately struggling to keep himself alive until his teammates (Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara, Sebastian Stan, Michael Pena) and ground control (Jeff Daniels, Chiwitel Ejiofor, Donald Glover, Kristen Wiig, Sean Bean, Mackenzie Davis) can figure out how to rescue him.
Tribute's red carpet interviewer Nicole Stamp spoke with the cast, the writers, and several of the NASA scientists who consulted on the film, and even got a glimpse of Matt Damon's new favourite bit of bling - his NASA lapel pin.
The Martian opens in theatres October 2.
