Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (Netflix)

Ma Rainey (Viola Davis) enjoys playing clubs and is even being called "Mother of Blues." However, her ambitious horn player Levee (Chadwick Boseman) wants to to make a break. He wants to make "real" records, not just jazz band music.
