Cherry (Tom Holland) is a very troubled young man. At school, he met the love of his life, Emily (Ciara Bravo). They share the same feelings for each other, but Emily is confused as to why Cherry signed up to join the army. After his service overseas, Cherry starts to show signs of PTSD. Starting to become desperate and lost, Cherry goes on a string of bank robberies as he also struggles to maintain his relationship with Emily.
