A simulated mission is conducted that exposes four would-be astronauts to complete isolation for 400 days underground in a small chamber. They have no communication with the outside world during their time below. When they experience what feels like an earthquake, they begin to question what is part of the simulation and what is not, and in the course of events, begin to suspect each other of being part of a plot.
