I thought the movie plot was a bit predictable, and I thought it would have been much better if the first lady was somehow involved. I wanted to give it 3.5 stars but chose to give it three, mainly because with the array of actors and actresses the movie had, it should have been a bit more successful. Mr.T

Please don`t take the previous writer, the one complaining about Toronto City hall, serious. According to him/her there are only very few movie go-ers around who are not familiar with the mechanics of the Secret Service and the White House. I`m one of them; he apparently is an expert. Furthermore, the building is never mentioned as Toronto City Hall, just a place in Toronto where the President is going to speak to an unspecified audience. So what does it matter if you recognise a building and it`s being used in a movie for a certain purpose? Anyway, there will always be wise crackers. The first 10 to 20 minutes of "The Sentinel" should have been cut out there had to be a better way of setting the scene. The opening is only necessary if you know nothing about the Secret Service and or the White House. The rest of the film is good, until the end. The scenes in Toronto makes me laugh. Why would a U.S. President be speaking to a U.N. like audience at Toronto City Hall and not The House of Commons. The President is supposed to be at a Group of 8 meeting yet he is addressing the U.N., in Canada, at Toronto City Hall. As Vizzini says in "The Princess Bride" "Inconceivable". There are more things silly at the end but The Sentinel

The movie was so slow. If you are expecting it to be even in a little similar to 24, do not go. I didnt really like it.

Person bellow me saying how the movie was "boring" and what not has no taste in movies what so ever. I saw this last night with 2 friends and none of us found the movie `boring` or slow. It is a great movie and I would recommend it!
