A very enjoyable, heart-warming movie. While the story (certainly, the happy ending) might have been a bit predictable, the excellent acting and the gorgeous cinematography more than made up for it. Everything, from the food to the scenery to the fresh faces of the young cast members, was lovingly filmed. I highly recommend this movie!

A very good family movie. Helen Mirren gives an excellent performance, as always, and the young stars Manish Dayal and Charlotte le Bon are perfect for their parts. This film will no doubt go down with the other great movies about food. Babette's Feast, Like Water for Chocolate and Chocolat. Very much worth seeing.
