An excellent film - I just watched it on CBC`s "The Passionate Eye." It helps the viewer to realize that people in society like Stevie, who have committed serious crimes, are not just one-dimensional monsters, but human beings who were often terribly abused themselves. These people should not just be warehoused in prisons, but should receive the help they need while imprisoned. Studies have shown that even the worst offenders are capable of turning their lives around. If Stevie gets real therapy, and can find a constructive environment to live in when he gets out, he may be able to lead an honest, law-abiding life. I hope the best for hi
Sad case really. Screwed up boy inflicts his pain on others, but mainly himself. Glad he didn`t get freed though. He needs major therapy.
