I agree I got the same feeling from this movie as I did watching Rocky.

To be honest, this movie surprised me on how funny & good it was! Amazing father/son/robot movie! Very entertaining & fun for the whole family. Canada's very own Dakota Goyo was super!

I attended an Advance Screening of REAL STEEL on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, 7.00 PM at Coliseum Ottawa Cinemas. A film for almost everyone, the film is rated as a PG-13. Some parts of this film remind of a bit of the original Rocky (1976) but with Robots! The setup is easy to follow and the rest of the film is fairly fast paced. The highlights of the film of course are the Robots! The CGI is very well done. Overall, a pleasant film to with lots of laughs. Thank you so very much Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Canada and Cineplex!

What is this? Did someone play too much Rock'm Sock'm Robots when they were little and decided to bring the premise of a kid's game to the big screen?
