Real Steel a modern take on Rock with Heart.

This movie was two hours which is a little bit long in my view but it didn't drag too much. The kid in it looked like the young Anakin Skywalker. Whenever the movie got boring my mind wandered and I made a mental note to IMDB that actor later. Where is that actor now? He should be famous. He played Anakin friggin Skywalker! Better than Hayden Christianson for frak's sake. The movie wasn't as saccharine and trite as I expected it to be but still, happy endings abound. And not the Asian masseuse kind. It was ok but would have been much better if the robots had become sentient and started ripping people's head's off.

It was an all round fun family movie... this isn't a teen-hottie adventure kind of movie like Transformers... ease up folks... yeeesh. I'm a girl and still it was a nice story.

There was no reason to have a kid in this.

I thought this movie was very entertaining! I never wondered what time it was, or felt like it dragged. It's a feel good movie and I really enjoyed it. Hugh's pretty hot too, so that's always a bonus.

Where's Wolverine when you really need him...?

Men dressed as robots. Meh.

Could have been something special if the effects were remotely convincing.

Go for the effects not the story. The kid in it was annoying as hell.
