We don't care about Superman in this movie because we don't care about Lois, who's so annoying she ruins every scene she's in. If Supes had let her die I swear the entire audience would have stood and applauded.

with the dark tone of this movie, i don't think it would be too far fetched to team up nolan's batman with this superman.

i don't know.. i liked the first half of the movie. it was an attempt to make superman's story more believable, which is what nolan tries to do in his movies. but the fight back and forth between superman and general zod was painful to watch. The movie served well as a logical introduction to the superman story, an alien being hiding among humans until he is forced out of his shell by some otherworldly threat. There is a christian archetype to the superman character and that was poked at some in this movie, a saviour for mankind. but the fighting in the last half of the movie was a page out of avengers or iron man, and it turned the film to cheese. the portrayal of krypton was amazing, i mus
