I enjoyed this movie more than I thought as there was a great storyline.I didn't realize at the time it was a "Remake">

Remake or Re-mock? The two children/teen actors kept me in the movie with good acting. The gore was not very scary and looked very super imposed throughout the movie. The story line had potential but the delivery off the twist was very flat and obvious.

Different but disturbing.

I thought the movie was good, and the acting was great! It was kind of a sweet story, with some twists. It was all in all a good see!

Nice to see young and upcoming actors make their mark.

This movie stands apart from others about this sort of evil (overdone). It's really a drama-thriller, that's a bit chilling and disturbing at times. Chloe Moretz is really talented, and it shows here. I really enjoyed this film!

I wasn't sure what to think about this one. There wasn't any really scary scenes, but there were some good, thought-provoking ones. The bullying tugs at your heartstrings, and some of the scenes will make you laugh. But there were two shots in the movie that weren't angles right or something, and it made you think that you were missing out on something. Most of the costumes were dated correctly, but I wasn't sure about all of them. I'm not sure his jacket was something you would have seen in the eighties. But overall, it was pretty good. You never know what you're getting with younger actors, but these two did a really good job.
