Very, very good. Everyone I've talked to enjoyed it as well ... plenty of positive feedback (from various age groups, which is always the sign of a solid film).

one of the best family films of the year, with great values and a very funny cast. the animation is great and the characters are ones that you can relate to.

Amazing and understanding video for both kids and adults alike to watch. This applies for kitties also. :)

the story was great, very funny in fact but the 3d was lacking.

A well done movie. Followed the book. Good to see for the 3D affects and to see with your kids. Well worth the money.

This is like a boy and his shaggy dog or a boy and his ET-sort of tale. It's very sweet and fun and it's heartening to see a rebellious nerd as a leading character. The message of tolerance and understanding is a nice lesson for those viewers from nine to ninety and is particularly resonant in this age of anxiety and fear of terrorism.I'm not sure if the 3D is necessary, though.

This was a great movie - for kids and adults alike. I was on the edge of my seat many times and it wasn't predictable. I, and my teenage daughter - really enjoyed it.
