Work of genius disgused as a documentary. Quite possibly the most entertaining piece of fraud (debatable) this year! When the chronicler becomes the subject anything can happen. Banksy can seemingly do no wrong, or disguises it well. =]

This is hilarious. Is the whole thing some kind of Banksy set-up? I dunno. Do I care? Not a bit. Will leave you laughing and mullling about the nature of art all at once

Best movie of the summer! Smart, funny, daring, audacious and maybe more than a little bit true. There is a sucker born every minute and this film exposes more than a few. If you think you know the modern art world prepare to be schooled. Truly a work of art!

Funny, entertaining and brilliant! Anyone who has ever wondered why art is so pricey will get a shock to their system with this gem. You'll never look at grafitti the same way again after seeing this. The best movie of 2010!

A piece of cinematic genius! The perfect example of a silk purse made from a sow's ear. The truth is never pretty, but always entertaining as this modern art documentary shows us in spades! Funny, informative, unbelievable and non-stop entertaining, movies rarely get to be as good as this!

This movie is about art as much as it is about fraud. Highly entertaining film from Banksy, definitely not what you'd expect. When the subjector becomes the subjected anything can happen and in this film IT DOES! Modern art pushed to the limit, then strangled and left for dead only to be resurrected and worshiped. Unbelievably good movie!

Either way [as documentary or hoax], the movie speaks the truth about the phoniness and self-adulation of the art world.

Strange movie!

Superb film giving insight into a curious subculture. Little is revealed about Banksy himself but the story of the Franco-American chap does give one pause about the current art scene. I admire the man's risk-taking however his success in vending his output indicates there are people in LA who possess more money than brains! Can you imagine parting good money for a painting of "Batman's Grandfather" ? Highly entertaining entry in the new era of the documentary. Highly recommended.

Excellent insight into the vanity, self promnotion and pointlessness of the modern art world. This movie exposes the ego and lack of talent necessary to make it in the world of contemporary art. A must see for any vain, lazy artist who'd rather complain than be creative.
