The wonderful story line was completely ruined by gratuitous violence. Really people, is that what this world has come to. Do we need to see a man ripped apart by dogs, people graphically tortured and so on to get entertained? Shame on everyone involved with this sick ass movie. The issue of slavery deserves more respect than this.

I guarantee in March/2014 the following will be said, "and the OSCAR for best supporting actor in the male catigory goes to,... ...Samual L. Jackson". GAURANTEE IT!!!

unfortunately , a typical tarantino movie . all over the place and way too long. with this cast , you would have expected a good movie. maybe a better writer and director would have saved this mess.

This was the funniest movie that I can remember seeing. Tarantino combines the talents of Foxx, Waltz, DiCaprio and Jackson into the perfect ensemble that results in an instant classic. This movie is gripping in its depiction of slavery in U.S. but counters it with such hilarity that you leave the theater with a completely unique experience, which is rare in today's multi-trilogy cookie cutter movie making scene. Each cast member adds so much rich acting ability that you feel their pain, their sorrow, their motivations and you come to love each character. To be able to tackle such a serious topic with such taste and humor only goes to show the high caliber of film making that is characteristi
