Great movie, the journey that each player makes as a person is absolutely incredible. I loved it.

Great movie. Took my 14 year old son who needed some motivation in life. He loved it. One point that bothered me. Coach Carter asks one of the troubled young men a number of times during the course of the movie: "What is your greatest fear?" Finally that player answers with: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure......" and the quote goes on from there. This is actually a quote from the 1994 Inaugural speech of Nelson Mandella. There should have been a way in which that could have been mentioned. This movie was worth the price of admission. I was afraid that it was going to turn all sappy when the boys all "saw the light" but it didn`t. It reminded me a lot of Friday Night Lights. Sammy, you`ve pumped out another decent flick.
