Terrible. The most boring film I have seen an a long time

Saw this last nite and was blowen away by the performance and the subject matter. It is beautifully done. I have always enjoyed a character driven film and this did not disappoint. Clive Owen is brillant and did the part justice with his tearful "Did you ever love me?" It is sad to me that people do actually hurt each other in a manner which is raw and driven by, it looks better over there mentallity. Overall LOVED this film, a definate add to my collection. It is so interesting to me when folks get upset about a bit of cyber sex....call it profanity, but can and do tolerate the amount of violence on tv and the big screen at any given time

I think Closer is well worth seeing. Especially if you often find yourself meeting eyes with strangers on the street... and perhaps kick yourself later, wondering what could have been. Closer shows that chance encounters can lead to relationships - and although it`s fictitious - at times feels like a documentary. I felt a strange sense of deja vu throughout the movie. I think it gives an accurate portrayal of relationships in the modern western world today.

Verbal pornography. So distasteful, and completely unnecessary. Saw it with some friends, and we ALL wished we hadn`t wasted wasted our time...let alone our $$. I was shocked to see Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman in such gutter roles. So sad. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
