Incredible movie!!! I didn`t think that Richard Gere can dance and sing so amazingly at such age. Catherine Zeta-Jones showed her beauty, glamour and talent. Everyone was fantastic. Finally Hollywood showed a movie that is worth watching!

This is as close to broadway as you can get without being there. Great adapation to the show. Will win an oscar for lighting design

BEST MOVIE EVER EVER

User rating: December 31, 2002

Chicago sparkles with cascades of high energy singing and dancing, and delivers the goods with rapid pacing laced with quick left jabs of black humour. Zellwegger embodies the desperate longing and instinctive opportunism of the young murderess Roxie, Zeta-Jones is transformed into a vaudeville vamp of the Roaring 20`s, Gere is convincing as the sleazy lawyer but falls flat in the singer/dancer department. Best musical numbers are Cellblock Tango and We Both Reached for the Gun. Most memorable songs include All That Jazz and Mr. Cellophane.

It was the best!! Words can`t describe how incredible and phenomenal Catherine, Renee and Richard did on this movie. It will sweep up at the oscars and I have no doubts about that! Congratulations to Catherine Zeta-Jones on a true triumph and to Renee for making the movie that much more better! To Richard, awesome job... this was your best movie I`ve ever seen (nice tap scene too!!)
