I am not a great Adam Sandler fan, but I have both enjoyed and been deeply annoyed by some of his previous movies. This one thankfully falls within the 1st category. It was sometimes sweet, sometimes hard to believe, sometimes foreseeable, but never dull. And yes, there is even someone with suits to rival Don Cherry (for those who watch hockey on CBC). All in all, a simple yet fun romantic comedy, with a lot more emphasis on the comedy than the romance.
