In this trailer for the documentary Le Ride, Phil Keoghan talks about why he decided to retrace every mile of the 1928 Tour de France. He and his buddy Ben Cornell take on the challenge along with a highway patrol officer and a cameraman. They try to make the ride as authentic to 1928 as possible, using vintage bicycles on the same roads, sticking to the same schedule. We see the modern day riders on the course, interspersed with footage from the 1928 race.
