Chris Hemsworth, who is interviewed on the set of 12 Strong, says he took on the role of Captain Mitch Nelson because he loved the story and found it fascinating. He was also intrigued because it was about horse mounted soldiers. We see some behind-the-scenes action as Chris reveals that the actors had three weeks of military class in addition to weapons training and says he felt that solidified them as a unit.
