I saw the first movie three times in one day. After having read the book, I was interested in seeing how it transferred to film. I was impressed. With the new Omen, although it was good and it stuck close to the original - I didn`t nor wouldn`t go see it three times in one day like I did the original.

Some people may have thought this movie to be scary, and i can see why. The movie trys to make us jump or scream by making things pop out behind people or jump on them, whatever, and the fact that the scares soley relied on these pop out moments was really dissapointing. The story istself was predictable and was overal really corny. They should have foccused more on the scariness of damiens life, but he had what, two lines?

The special effects and `scare` factor were really impressive, however the story/plot was not as in-depth as I hoped. I was expecting more story-wise.
