a perfect end to the batman trilogy. this movie brought out the best of christian bale, and saw the return of a few characters from previous films. definitely worth shelling out the extra cash for imax.

for me the entire batman movie serious had always been 'okay' and never that good, but this one definitely 'great'. interesting story line that's more complex and 'mostly' unexpected, which i enjoyed. excellent visuals. excellent action and scenarios. only negative was catching banes dialogue, much was hard to make out. but overall worth the see even in imax. too bad no 3d!

this movie was epic and the imax experience fantastic. much darker than the first two. banes character was menacing and he beats batman to a pulp with his best line telling bruce who asks why bane didn't kill him yet, "your punishment must be more severe" classic line. some great twists including the ending. there are not many movies i would see twice in the theater, but i will with this one.
