The mother -daughter relationship is a very tenuous one. Mothers generally do their utmost for their children but the child, at times, feels otherwise. Sashinka's story starts with a party at her place during which her mother shows up unexpectedly. Sashinka's reaction shocks. The story unfolds very dramatically. Her mother is not only a lush but also mentally unbalanced. The struggle to treat her mother well with the mother's shenanigans causing both embarrassment as well as harming her nascent singing career, makes for a must-watch film. A gripping movie that highlights how and why it is not always practical to support a family member who is already over the edge. Hoping the movie will be aired again.
