Michelle Williams is a thin representation of the real Marilyn, sadly lacking her charm and vibrancy that lit up the screen. She may look like her, but that's as far as it goes. The non-existent plot makes one wonder why this memoir was made into a film at all. Wait for it on video if you insist on seeing it.
Academy Award performance by Michelle Williams
She does great at representing marilyn but personnally i felt the movie story line (yes it is true) is slow and weak.
A good movie that gives us a glimpse into the superstar persona of Marilyn.
Really enjoyed this cast and the life they brought to these beautiful yet insecure people, especially the women in their varied states of being in the spotlight, marlyn in her prime, vivien just past her glory, and the dame, generous in aged stardom. Wonderful movie, lovely to be transported to such a glamorous time in movie making history.
I thought Michelle Williams did a great job - worth an academy award.
Great cast, Michelle did a wonderful job as Marilyn.
Michelle Williams was outstanding
I loved the costumes and the soundtrack! Everyone was amazing in this movie. It gave us an inside look on how she dealt with her own insecurities.
kinda boring actually
