Barneys version is a great slice of Canadiana. Saw it at the theatre last night. It was funny, brought tears to my eyes a few times and overall a good movie. It was a little too long but the character development was top notch. Great acting and directing.

Good movie, great acting.

The story line is good, and the acting is good. Unfortunately it is a lot like other movies. About a guy and about a girl. I am not saying the movie has been done before, but it reminds me of a couple other movies. That is all.

This movie could probably have done with a little more editing. It goes into uneccessary detail at time, but despite this, there was great character development and Paul Giamatti nailed this role.

I was fortunate to see an early preview showing of this movie and I loved it to the point of tears! The acting was wonderful and I think Paul Giamatti should win an award for his performance.I am seldom happy with the way a movie ends but this one had a ahha moment right there!

I was warned by my daughter, that I would not like the movie. Well she was wrong: love Robert Lantos work, all the characters in the movie, and the cameo appearances by Etom Egoyan, Denys Arcand and David Cronenberg was fun. Recognized so many Canadian artist. Laughed throughout the movie and saddened by the end.
