Wow this movie did not meet my expectations at all. This is the first time I have ever given a movie a 1 star before. It is that bad. The original was soooooo much better. If you want to spend your money rent or buy the original, it is more worth your money.

This movie sucks.

If it were possible to give it less that 1 star I would. This movie was a complete waste of my time & money. The original was a classic directed by Wes Craven. My first issue is, why does a great movie have to be re-made in the first place? I found the characters boring, uninteresting & a lack of chemestry on screen. Freddy's new look didn't please me either, his character was more annoying than scary. I think the best part of the movie was when the end credits started rolling. I had the biggest grin on my face that I was leaving the cinema after precious time wasted on NOTHING. I think it's bad enough that Michael Bay botched Friday The 13th & he should stick to his own genres like transfo

In this particular movie, the once legendly known Freddy had moved from being a Horror Icon into a Comedian
