WILL SASSO
Date of Birth: May 24, 1975
William Sasso was born in British Columbia to Italian immigrant parents. At a young age, he knew he loved comedy and wanted to act. He says his love of the two came from an unhealthy television addiction. When he was 15 years old, he landed his first agent and quickly began to book roles in television and film in the early '90s with guest appearances on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Neon Rider. From 1993 to 1997, he played a regular role on the Canadian series Madison, while simultaneously playing a starring role on the American TV series Sliders (1995 to 1996).
Will's big break came when he was cast as a regular member of MADtv, where he was known for characters such as singer Michael McCloud and his impersonations of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert De Niro and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
He then spent four seasons on the television series Less Than Perfect and also spent three seasons on the Canadian series Robson Arms co-starring Gabrielle Miller. He has made guest appearances on TV shows such as Entourage and How I Met Your Mother, not to mention several TV movies including Doctor Who and Five Year Plan.
Will worked with Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore in 1996 and with Katherine Heigl in the 2010 big screen comedy Life as We Know It. In 2012, he was cast as Curly Howard in The Farrelly Brothers' The Three Stooges, alongside Sean Hayes as Larry and Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe. Sasso also appeared in the 2012 comedy film Moving Day about a group of good-for-nothing guys who have to get their act together when their employer, a moving company, starts going under.
Most recently, Will voiced a part in the animated film Ozzy (2017) with Jacob Tremblay.
