THOMAS IAN NICHOLAS
Date of Birth: July 10, 1980
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Thomas Ian Nicholas' first professional acting job came at the age of seven when he portrayed a young Tony Danza on the ABC-TV sitcom Who's the Boss?. Soon after, he landed guest roles on Baywatch, Married...with Children and Sisters before making his big screen debut at the age of 11 in Radio Flyer (1992), starring Elijah Wood. His breakthrough role came at 12, when he landed the starring role in Rookie of the Year (1993), playing a boy who becomes a major league pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. The movie was a success at the box office, and Nicholas returned to TV to appear in two episodes of the hit series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, before landing another starring role on the big screen in A Kid in King Arthur's Court (1995). The film did well enough to merit a sequel, A Kid in Aladdin's Palace (1997). Two years later, Nicholas joined the cast of the hit teen comedy American Pie (1999), which earned over $100 million at the domestic box office.
In 2000, he appeared in nine episodes of the hit TV drama Party of Five in the recurring role of Todd, a violinist, before returning to the big screen for American Pie 2 (2001) and American Wedding (2003). He made his directing debut with a film called L.A. D.J. (2003), also co-writing the screenplay. Since then, he has appeared in many independent films when not touring with his band. In 2008, he released his album "Without Warning." In 2012, he reunited with the rest of the American Pie cast for American Reunion.
Nicholas is an avid music lover who writes music, sings and plays guitar. He married singer/songwriter DJ Colette on January 3, 2007.
