SHAWN WAYANS
Date of Birth: January 19, 1971
With a family like Shawn Wayans', he was destined for stardom. Born in New York City, his brothers Damon and Keenen are actors, writers and producers, (Keenen is also a director) and sister Kim and brother Marlon are both actors. Wayans also has another brother Dwayne and four other sisters, Nadia, Evonnie, Deidrea and Elvira.

Wayans has since gone on to write, produce and star with his brother Marlon Wayans in the hit comedy Don't Be A Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, which was a parody of the coming-of-age-in-the-hood movies. In addition, Wayans has created and starred with Marlon in The Wayans Bros. sitcom.
Recent work in feature films include the horror film spoof Scary Movie 2 (2001) and White Chicks (2004) and Little Man (2006), both directed by his brother Keenan.
In addition to his roles in film and television, Wayans has written the book 150 Ways to Tell if You're Ghetto which was a critical offbeat collection of one-liners. The book hit the Waldenbooks Best Seller List.
