CRAIG BIERKO
Date of Birth: August 18, 1964
Born in Westchester, New York, Craig Bierko made his stage debut at 10 as a newsboy in the musical Gypsy at a community theater run by his parents.
He went on to study at Northwestern University, and prior to starring off-Broadway in Modern Orthodox alongside Molly Ringwald and Jason Biggs, he appeared in a staged workshop of Boys From Syracuse at The Roundabout Theatre.
In 2001 he debuted on Broadway as Harold Hill in the legendary musical The Music Man. For his work, he received a Theatre World Award, as well as a Tony Award nomination and much critical acclaim.
Early TV credits include guest appearances on Our House (featuring a very young Shannon Doherty), Newhart, Wings, Murphy Brown and Empty Nest, as well as a short stint on The Young and the Restless in 1989.
Film credits include playing the villain in The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) opposite Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as supporting roles in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003) and playing Max Baer in Cinderella Man (2005), opposite Russell Crowe. In the comedy spoof Scary Movie 4 (2006), he played the romantic male lead opposite Anna Faris, then landed another starring role in the thriller Danika (2006) opposite Marisa Tomei. He was most recently cast in the Farrelly Brothers' The Three Stooges (2012).
More recently, he starred in Louder Than Words (2013) and Equity (2016).
