Omertà

A former police officer who's become the director of a large high-tech security company, Pierre Gauthier (Michel Côté) is approached by his former boss, Gilbert Tanguay (Michel Dumont). He wants Pierre to organize a sting operation to find out if Montreal restaurateur Steve Bélanger (Patrick Huard) has been filtering dirty money for mobster Dominic Fagazi (René Angélil). Sophie (Rachelle Lefevre), one his best agents, gets a job as an assistant manager at the restaurant. The young woman soon discovers that Bélanger is linked to Sam Cohen, a murderer who was released despite having four years left of his sentence to serve. His early release is thanks to Fagazi, who needs his expertise to manufacture one thousand ingots of gold-plated tungsten in preparation for a huge heist involving the Canadian and U.S. federal reserves.
