Saving Face

This HBO documentary follows a Pakistani plastic surgeon who returns to his homeland of Pakistan to help restore the faces and lives of women who have been attacked with acid. Saving Face was filmed entirely in Pakistan and won the 2012 Academy Award for Best Documentary (short subject).
