Theater Reviews

Best theater in LaSalle County, Illinois!

December 02, 2022

Everything about this theater is spot-on. If there's ever any issues, the employees work instantly to fix them. The special events, recliners, cleanliness, delicious popcorn, hot food items like pulled pork nachos, cheesy bacon ranch tater tots, funnel cake sticks, smoothies, ice cream treats, and alcoholic beverages (a self-serve beer wall??!! Say WHAT!!?) take this theater beyond anything you're used to seeing in Small Town America.

Disappointing audio experience

December 28, 2019

Overall, it's a great experience. The audio is definitely struggling a bit. I have asked them to turn the volume up during a couple of movies and they seems reluctant to do so. It has been to the point of straining to hear in order to follow along with the movie. They have surround speakers mounted on the side walls but don't use them. I'm no movie theater expert, but it seems like all other theaters use the front speakers before the previews start but then fire up the surround speakers for the previews and feature. Does anyone know anything about this?

Worst sound system I have ever experienced.

February 03, 2018

The sound system is nothing short of terrible. I guess it is okay if you want to hear the movie being shown from the one two doors (theaters) away. It was so bad I could not follow the movie I had paid to see. Finally my wife asked if they would turn the sound down from the other movies being shown near by. This helped very little if any. We walked out about 30 minutes into the 2 hour and 15 minute movie. The manager was sorry for our bad experience and refunded our money. She said they had this sound problem of one movie bleeding over into the next one for about a year. I said if they didn't resolve this problem the theater would probably love their customers and close because of loss revenue. Other than the sound issue the move theater is first class all the way.
