In Ireland, Rosemary Muldoon (Emily Blunt) is in love with her neighbor, Anthony Reilly (James Dornan), who feels the same way about her, but he hasn't worked up the nerve to ask her to marry him. Anthony's father, Tony Reilly (Christopher Walken), tells Rosemary she's wasting her time, but she perseveres. After Tony decides to give their land to Anthony's American cousin, Adam (Jon Hamm), Adam arrives and immediately sweeps Rosemary off her feet. This forces Anthony to realize he needs to step up his game.
