Exceptional. Thoughtful writing, and i felt that the director offered humanity great RESPECT. There is a sense of HONOR and NOBILITY that is handed to the viewer, and many openly applauded after the film. It was the most entertaining and thoughtful film ... Exciting is Skyfall. BEAUTIFUL is Life Of Pi.

The acting was very good, as well as the action scenes. It was just okay for me, more of a kids movie in my opinion. A clean kids movie with some good morals.

Interesting concept; excellent visuals. semi-surprised w/ending. would recommend others to see. Should receive a few Oscar nominations

Ehhhhh, not too great. I wasn't impressed with the Oscar bait too much this year. I was also underwhelmed by Lincoln, another hugely anticipated film. I hope Django Unchained, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Les Miserables, Zero Dark Thirty, and Promised Land don't disappoint. This film was kind of silly. Khan was really good, and so was the father. Sharma himself was good but not that great. The film was better at the beginning, but it started to drag in the middle. It wasn't a boring film, but it wasn't that good either.

An extremely well done moveie it should get a oscar for the 3d effects. The young indian boy was tailor made for this movie. Very stunning visually also very gripping in parts. i will give it 5 stars

Great family movie ! Bravo to Ang Lee and the incredible performance of the young Indian actor.

Agreed. Cloud Atlas was a self indulgent, three hour tour of drivel! Great message (albeit completely fantastical) but very poorly executed in terms of excitement... I was bored (very bored - to the point of anger) for about 85% of the movie.
