My son loved it -- he is 12 years old and thought it was great!!! He loved the first cars movie and loved this one too.

Movie was good for the kids but kind of boring for an adult. 3D feature was not really worth the money as there wasn't much 3D in it.

love the "cars" movies! my 8 year old son and i loved the 1st one and couldn't wait to see the 2nd one :-)

Pixar's first misstep. The only character given any kind of serious screentime is Mater [voiced by Larry the Cable Guy]. There's virtually no screentime for the other characters from Cars - even Lightning McQueen is relegated to a supporting role as the film becomes a flashy, but insubstantial, spoof of Grand Prix racing and fast-paced spy flicks. Mater just isn't a character who should be expected to carry a movie, and Pixar's John Lasseter gets so involved in all the cool action sequences - and trying make Mater's being mistaken for a superspy work - that he's lost sight of what mades Pixar's first eleven movies classics - stories about well developed characters.
