In this clip from The Bye Bye Man, Elliot (Douglas Smith) is in the library, scratching out every instance where the name of “The Bye Bye Man” appears on a typewritten paper. When the lights begin to flicker, Elliot quickens his pace, fearing that the Bye Bye Man will appear.
