In the official trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the iconic Darth Vader theme is heard. Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) tells Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) that "the world is coming undone." Imperial star cruisers are shown hovering above a planet. "Imperial flags reign across the galaxy." he says.

Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly) tells Jyn: "We have a mission for you." Footage of the Death Star's construction is shown as Mon Mothma explains that a "major weapon's test is imminent."

The rebels are seen fighting imperial storm troopers, flying away from TIE fighters and encounter a force sensitive human.

Darth Vader appears. He breathes his iconic breath.
