Rings

The new trailer for Rings begins as a woman approaches a laptop, opens her email and sees a video embedded in a message. She hits play, static appears, and then suddenly, several morbid images reminiscent of the film The Ring (2002) quickly pop up.

As the trailer continues, a young girl's voice can be heard. She says, "There once was a girl, no one dares speak her name. In death, she seeks vengeance for a life filled with pain. Once you see her story, you have seven days to live. Because she does not forget, and she does not forgive." Chilling shots of a child with long dark hair hanging over her face are depicted and it's clear a menacing force is ready to wreak havoc.
