Luce

In this trailer for Luce, we are introduced to Luce Edgar (Kelvin Harrison Jr.), who was adopted from war-torn Eritrea by Amy (Naomi Watts) and Peter Edgar (Tim Roth).  An all-star high school athlete and accomplished debater, Luce is suddenly brought under scrutiny by one of his high school teachers, Harriet Wilson (Octavia Spencer), who takes issue with a controversial paper he wrote. When Amy and Peter are faced with her concerns, they are forced to reckon with their idealized image of their son and the possibility of his teacher having a personal agenda against the boy.
