Scrat is still pursuing that elusive acorn, but in the official second trailer for Ice Age: Collision Course, when he grabs hold of the acorn, it turns out he's in a spaceship that has launched into outer space. He has his beloved acorn, but when he sees the Earth out of the spaceship window, he quickly grows homesick. Next thing he knows, he's in a spacesuit, floating through space. Back on Earth, Scrat's pals are in danger as Scrat's actions have sent a series of astroids crashing down on his home planet.
