In the trailer for Ash is Purest White, Qiao (Tao Zhao) wants a simple life, but her mobster boyfriend Bin (Fan Liao) finds it unlikely, because his lifestyle puts them in a position of constant strife and danger. When a rival gang attacks them one night, Qiao fires Bin's gun to protect him and winds up a murderer.
