I don't think I like the new 48fps way of filming. It was too sharp and real looking for my tastes. Otherwise, it was entertaining, but not as good as TLOTR.
Great movie. 3D work was seamless. The character development was good; lots of dialogue scenes to build back story and premonition. I'm glad to see a good pre-quel to add to my Trilogy collection.
I think people are comparing the movie and the Book, and as a result they give it a low rating because certain elements or scenes in the movie does not exist in the Book.Obviously they had to stretch it to make it into a trilogy, but i see nothing wrong by doing this, because as long as the Heart of the story is there, is all that matters, and the movie experience is a lot more interesting.Making a movie exactly what the Book says would probably make it boring. All i know is i found it very entertaining and i loved every minute of it!!This is a must see!!!
Lots Of action, good story, but Felt that I was left hanging at end.
Amazing, for those hating on too much talking scenes, they were amazing talking scenes.
The Hobbit? There and back again?? I couldn t believe it when the movie ended with Smaug's eye opening--that's not even half the story! What's with the 'White Orc" and Galadril and Saruman??
This movie was a major disappointment- thats what happens when they make three three-hour movies from a 200 page childrens book....
worst & most boring movie ever made. too mch talking scene, a waste of money & time
it has to be more interesting and mysterious
Don't let the length scare you...it's high fantasy on film at its finest!
