I gave it one star because you can't give 0 stars. Total waste of time this movie is.

For Shame!!!! Writing and story were bad enough but my god what bad acting. They should all never work again.

I'm a huge fan of both Mark Wahlberg and Shyamalan so I saw this movie in spite of all the crappy reviews. Turns out I should have listened. This is easily one of the WORST movies I have ever seen. Zooey whatever her name is needs some acting classes. The movie is more of a comedy than a thriller which isn't good since that isn't the intention. Definitely wait until it comes out on TV.

brutal, turned into an environmental movie

This movie was begging for some Bollywood-style singing and dancing sequences. It would have been priceless as a musical punctuated by all the gruesome suicide and one-dimensional relationship banter.

What a load of garbage, this is more like a comedy than a horror movie. Avoid at all costs!!

Based on the old Supremes hit of the same name, The Happening delivers; it's great!

I could really empathize with the characters in this movie...I too wanted to kill myself halfway through the film.
