I really enjoyed The Finest Hours. Watching it in 3D, I found the special effects were very realistic and I could imagine how those men would have felt being on the water in such a storm. I didn't know this was based on a true story, so it was really neat to see the photos and news clippings at the end of the film.

I enjoyed the movie as I had never heard about tragedy. The movie was fast paced and was nor boring and did not drag. The only thing that I was not thrilled about was when they loaded with the survisors, they seemed to have dry clothes on, which was unexpected since they had been in the storm and in the water

I really enjoyed this movie, it was great to see a movie whose storyline was based on a true event that didn't require any spectacular explosions or mindless violence to grab your attention. The violence of the storm and ocean kept us all glued to the screen and wondering who would make it back alive. Chris Pine and Casey Affleck were both excellent in this movie and I have already recommended it to friends.

I went into this movie with no expectations, but knowing if it was a Disney film that it had to be good. The special effects were amazing and seeing them in 3D made the experience even better. I personally found the characters a little dull, but the actors portraying them were fantastic. Such a great story of courage and I was overall pleased with this movie.

The movie is a bit slow at the start, then once it gets going to are glued to the screen. Chris Pine plays a different sort of hero for him. Casey Afleck was amazing in his role. Both show the service required of men and women in there fields.

Gr8 movie, especially in 3D for this type of moviie... Made it very intense & realistic as if I was on the oil tanker out in a storm on the perilous seas! Also gr8 acting, & loved that storyline based on true event & real photos & newsclippings shown at end of movie.

Titanic meets Perfect Storm. Good action movie, but seemed a bit familiar in some ways. Some parts did drag, but over all enjoyable.

I loved it, it was captivating. I was fearful for the whole team. God was watching out for them. Story well written. I also liked the ending when they showed the pictures of the real person, the actors likeness was so close. Thank you for the opportunity to watch the film!
