I have watched this many times now. it is not as good as the first but still worth 4 stars. There is one mistake, Bones said he was injecting Khan's platelets into the deceased tissue of a necrotic host when it should be the necrotic tissue of the deceased host (the tribble)lol.
excellent!
Absolutely worth seeing. Better than the first one which was great. See it in Imax 3D for top of the line viewing!
excellent story/plot... great use of alternate timeline 'meld' of one with the other (old vs new) to the fullest. inclusion of such reinventing the characters via novel timelines keeps it interesting. worth the see. done well in IMAX 3D too. enjoyed it immensely.
SOUND CENSURE WARNING: Originally planning to take in Iron Man 3 yesterday, Star Trek’s trailer turned us in a different direction. As good as its predecessor was, I thought, as with the Bond franchise, I had “Treked” far enough, and it would be best just to leave with its fond memories firmly intact. SO WRONG: THIS MAY BE THE BEST OF THE REST, with even the heresy of thinking “This Spock (Zachary Quinto), and even many of the new crew, better, deeper, and well worthy of an entirely new franchise, resembling the first mostly, only in the “names” of the characters” and the backdrop of space, being my conclusion. A bonus was this movie had the very best 3D effects ever, leaving my favorite mov
Amazing start to finish, a must see in 3d Imax
